MINISTRIES

Men's Department -  Encourages and develop men to seek God for their goals and gifts in the church, their home, and society.

Women's Department - Is designed to promote Spiritual growth for the women of the church and those women who the church is aiming to reach.  This is done by prayer, training, and studying God 's word.

Youth Department - Is designed to prepare and train all young people in taking their places as the future leaders of the church.

Pastor's Aide - It is the aim of the Pastor's Aide to assist the pastor.  Assist with prayers, with encouraging words and actions.

The Legal Symposium  is held in May, October, and January.  Prominent attorneys, politicians, and activists give of their time to provide the community with the most updated information on ballot initiatives, pending legislation, and civil rights.

The Jail Ministry - Provides encouragement to inmates and their families through prayer, letter writing, counseling, and visitation

Home Mission Society - Provides support to the Women and Family Emergency Housing Program of the Union Rescue Mission.  Bread for Life CCC delivers Mother's Day Baskets and Father's Day Boxes to the Union Rescue Mission. Back Packs are delivered in September filled with school supplies to the children of the mission.  Bread for Life CCC participates in their Christmas activities.

Manners made Easy - Is designed to motivate children to learn and practice good manners. The lessons are designed to help students become more confident and considerate in their everyday lives.

L.I.F.E. (Lives Inspired For Education) - High school students apply to participate in this program.  Students complete an application.  They are selected based on their church participation, grades, goals and income level.  Students are provided a mentor and receive a mini grant.  They also participate in the Annual Light The World Breakfast held in December.

Young People Living For Christ  - Young men and women come and learn how to live a life based on Christian principles.  They study the Bible and are taught obedience, respect, discipline, and how to live drug free.  The group participates in many outside activities.  On the Schedule of services - young people living for Christ - time should be 6:00 p.m.
