THE LANCE PROJECT

The Lance Project was founded in 2006 to assist people with their legal problems.  The program is named after a young man who was charged and found guilty of a crime he didn't commit.  Because of the California Three Strikes Law and mandatory sentencing he received two strikes along with his jail time.

The ordeal inspired his father and mother to start the program.  This program is a ministry of the Bread For Life Community Christian Center.  The Lance project is funded by contributions from very kind people.

The Lance Project provides the following services:

  • Prayer and Encouragement

  • Free or Reduced Attorney Consultations

  • The Legal Symposium - (January - May - October 2008)

  • Transportation Assistance

  • Four Step Re-entry Program

Anger Management Sessions
Drug Awareness
Rebuilding Relationships
Employment Preparation

GOALS

  • To provide legal information to the community
  • To provide support for families in legal crisis
  • To provide assistance to former inmates re-entering society
